Our Year

We started our year with A trip to Hardware Ranch to see the elk and then a fun weekend at the Sheffield cabin. We love that we get to spend so much time with family!

We spent our Presidents Day weekend having a "staycation" and had sleep overs with dad.

Hunter's Jr. Jazz team took first place. He was very excited and loved being one such a fun team with so many friends.
.

Ewan had surgery to remove his adenoids in hopes to stop his chronic sinus infections.

Cassia turned 10 and had a Night Owl birthday party. They played games, did blindfolded makeoevers, ate lots of candy, and watched Nacho Libre (Cassia's favorite movie)

Redick started wrestling. He was so excited but soon realized people took it a little more seriously than he did and was a little overwhelmed. Most practices ended in tears.

The kids were very excited to have a new cousin. They all love to hold Pyper!

In honor of Kirk's mom, Vicki, him and his brother and sister did the Breast cancer walk.

We went to the cabin for memorial day and had a blast. We did a lot of work but we always find time for fun. Cassia and Olivia jumped in the lake. They didn't care at all that it was FREEZING.

Both Hunter and Redick had graduations. Redick from Kindergarten and Hunter from 6th grade.

We borrowed Kirk's parents motorhome and headed to South Dakota to meet Kirk's sister Bethany, her husband Josh, his neice Syd and her boyfriend Derek at Mount Rushmore.

We made a lot of stops along the way to make the most of the road trip.

Joy's Mom came along with us and we are so glad she did!

We had such a great time! I think it was one of the kids favorite vacations ever

While at Mount Rushmore we did an alpine slide and ziplines.

As always we went to the cabin for the 4th of July. But this year was extra special. We had a great family reunion with all the Williams family. We made rockets, had a tug or war, played the army game, 4-wheeling, kayaking, skiing, and just having so much fun with the family.
We were so glad that the Andersons were there at the same time so we could see them too.

Cassia spent a week at Girl Scout Camp. It is probably her favorite week of the year.
Cassia went to her first concert. One Direction, and we were so close to the stage! She had so much fun once she got used to the noise!

Red played soccer and loved it. He was so excited to play with one of his best friends.

Cassia and Hunter both got glasses this year. They definitely got all the bad genes from their parents!

Kirk ran the Rivalry Relay again this year. The team ran from Salt Lake to Provo.

Hunter played football again this year. He played corner and special teams. His team took 2nd place. The highlight of his year was going to a tournament in Mesquite, NV.

Red Played football for the first time this year He played defensive line. Kirk helped coach his team.

For Hallooween the kids were Luigi, a robot, a crazy cat lady, and Mario.
